I photograph weddings on film because I believe in slowing down, paying attention, and capturing the real moments that actually mean something. I have always admired  the process of intentional photography alongside upholding the honesty and authenticity of analogue film.

One of the biggest reasons I chose film comes from my parents. They got married nearly forty years ago in a small elopement at Sutton Registry Office. Just them and two friends. There are only fifteen photos from that day, taken on a cheap 35mm camera. I keep their wedding album on my coffee table and flick through it often. Those photos aren’t perfect, but they feel real and are so unapologetically humble. That is what I am drawn to. Not documenting every single second, but noticing the in-between moments. The ones you will come back to. The ones that matter to you and to the generations after you.

People sometimes ask about the risk of film. The truth is, every kind of technology carries risk. I choose film because it is my craft. It is how I see the world and how I create. That said, I always come prepared with backups, extra cameras, lenses, and everything I need to take care of your memories as any photographer should.
